Although there are several people that create and design for the The Savvy Socialista, below you can meet Jami and the main players for Team Savvy!
The “Jack-of-all-Trades” best describes Nancy, The Chief behind the Chief! She handles whatever is thrown her way. Be it blog posts, Twitter, filing, phone or calming down the boss, she takes it on with the enthusiasm of the ever-ready bunny.
Nancy joined the team in early 2011 to help with the fast growing business. Having spent many years as a school secretary, she dove right in holding down the office to free Jami up for client appointments. If she’s not on the computer, you’ll probably find her taking client pictures for their blog post or running errands for the boss.
Nancy resides in Gilbert, AZ with her husband of 36 years, Frank. They have two married daughters and 4 wonderful grandchildren.
Mary’s experience encompasses development in PHP and MySQL database management systems. Mary enjoys working with the open-source environment. Platforms such as: Worpdress, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, OS-Commerce, Zen-Cart and many others.
Mary’s artistic scope blends some of the most widely used applications, such as: XHTML and CSS. Mary is best known for being available almost any time of the day/night, as she can be found online constantly…Yes, we keep her chained to her desk : )
Mary resides in Anthem, Arizona with her husband Chris and two teenage boys.

Penny joins the Savvy Socialista as a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 6, who loves to make ideas come to life! With over 12 years experience under her belt, she thrives in a multi-level, multi-tasking, processing environment. A nerd at heart who loves creating things on the computer, be it graphics, videos or web sites. Penny also enjoys making handmade greeting cards, needle work, jewelry – really anything crafty! Growing up in Minnesota gave her a love for the outdoors so hiking, fishing and camping with her family and friends are another way the Lord blesses her life.
Jessica is crazy about branding and smart design. As a graphic designer she loves helping businesses succeed through consistent branding online and in print. When she’s not designing, she’s chasing her busy toddler Oliver, baking, crafting or spending time with her sweet hubby Todd.
Amanda, a dabbler in many things, brings a variety of experience to The Savvy Socialista team. From an intern at VH1 to meticulously planning her own wedding (including designing her dress!), Amanda’s talents have touched everything from advertising and marketing to signage, environmental graphics, graphic design and branding.
But, when she’s not drawing pictures on the monitor, Amanda is usually wielding a needle and thread or rolling pin into the wee hours of the night. Whether work or play, office or kitchen, her passion to do it all and to do it well is apparent in her work. As a true night owl, don’t be shocked if her emails ding in at 2am!
