Cue the sound of angels anytime you hear there is an easier way to improve your social media marketing. Browser extensions are web based and easy to find no matter how many windows you have open.
Here are a few social media marketing tools to give your browser some new tricks!
1. Instagram
If you are using the Instagam app on your device to manage your brand and for personal use, it can be incredibly frustrating. You are constantly signing in and out of the app. That also can create anxiety as you go to post. You may often wonder if you’re signed into the correct account.
However, if you install this third-party Instagram extension for Chrome you can engage on Instagram without going to your phone or to the Instragram.com!
The extension allows you to like, comment, view videos, get desktop notifications and see what filters were used for each photo.
2. Customized Links
Many of you are likely familiar with Bitly, a service for shortening links. While this is the core of what they do, it doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of everything their extension and bookmarklet let you achieve.
A bitmark comes with many more options than your average link. You can save links as bitmarks to organize them into bundles around similar topics, gather data and real-time statistics on them and see which of your friends have already shared a certain link.
For example, when you run a webinar, make sure to bitmark the registration link and give it a custom name. That way, attendees can easily share and remember the link. After all, something like “bit.ly/myawesomewebinar” is going to be a lot easier to memorize and tweet out to friends than “https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/8442871970454944002.”
3. Buffer Posts
Buffer is a content scheduling app. It allows you to post content onto all of your social networks at predetermined times in the future.
For example, you can choose an auto-posting schedule every few hours or you can specify a targeted time to post something on multiple networks. This is great for weekends or when you’re busy or away from your computer.
Buffer lets you plan the future around your own unique messaging needs.
